Good Vibrations:  Introduction to Tuning Forks

Sound has been used for healing since 500 B.C.  Tuning forks emit powerful frequencies that can “tune-up” mind, body and spirit.   Their vibration has been shown to free blocked energy and promote personal transformation, health and healing. In this FREE workshop you will learn about the history of sound and the science behind why it works.  Daria Ewanik will demonstrate simple techniques for powerful results using specific tuning forks.  You will have a chance to work with each other and receive a 10 minute frequency attunement.  These forks are great to use on yourself, with family and friends and make a great addition to your current energy or body work practice.

Interested in learning how to play the African Djembe drum?  This program is designed to offer the beginning drummer the tools and confidence to participate in drum circles. It's easy and fun, no musical experience required.  In this workshop you will learn: 
  • The basic mechanics of African hand drumming
  • The skills to play simple African rhythms within a group
  • The unique dynamic that playing in a group offers
  • How to connect with your own inner rhythm
Everyone has their own rhythm. Express the rhythm within you by learning how to play the African Djembe.  All instruments will be provided.
