QiGong / Tong Ren: Meditative Energy Exercises for Health & Balance

Are you ready for an amazingly easy and enjoyable practice to enhance your natural powers of self-healing and bring yourself back into balance? Qigong (pronounced "chee gong") is an ancient Chinese energy healing art that aligns mind, body, and spirit. The philosophy behind Qigong is that of Taoism: the concepts of harmony and flow, when your energy channels are flowing and in balance, then you recover faster from ailments or injuries, you handle stress more easily. The classes include 35-40 minutes of Qigong exercises, a meditation, and a Tong Ren group healing. Tong Ren is a powerful healing method using the concepts of Chinese medicine to release energy blocks and help to heal at the source of any problem. Ruth A. Golush, Ph.D. is an experienced healer, teacher, and wellness consultant.

Meditation is a path to relaxation, emotional balance and a calmer mind. This group is a wonderful opportunity to establish and maintain a regular meditation practice. Join us for silent and guided meditation practice in a small group setting. No experience required. Michele B. Engoran, has been meditating for over 21 years, she has been teaching meditation for12 years and has completed a professional level Mindfulness for Stress Reduction training with Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn.
